Flameproof cam switch (component Ex) is designed for use in underground coal mines in excavations of methane explosion hazard class a, b, or c, or coal dust explosion hazard class A or B and zones 1 and/or 2 of explosion hazard group IIC After use other type of explosionproof enclosure can be used for application as a disconnecting switch, circuit-breaker, or change-over switch in installation rated voltage up to 400V.
