Electronic time fuse of rocket artillery CEZAR-100M1

CEZAR-100M1 fuse is designed to initiate charge launching for rocket missile disintegration after set time measured from the start of the missile. The fuse is electronically programmed with the use of EP-92M programmer. The fuse, after missile disintegration time has been set, is in a state of passive readiness. The impact of overload forces activates the countdown system. Upon the stop of inertial forces i.e. at the end of active trajectory section, the fuse is unlocked and passes into the state of combat readiness. After the elapse of the set disintegration time, electrical energy is transmitted into the tube initiating the ignition of disintegrating powder charge. Safety is provided by adequate position of mechanisms in the operation stages excluding the fuse activation.
