24-25 MAY 2022 DEFENCE24 DAY

On May 24-25, 2022, a conference devoted to strategic aspects of state defense in the national and international dimension was held in the halls of the EXPO XXI Center in Warsaw. The event was once again opened by the Minister of National Defense Mariusz Błaszczak.

During the conference, a number of interesting lectures, presentations and discussions took place. Guests had an unusual opportunity to familiarize themselves with the offer of not only the Polish and foreign sectors of the defense industry, presented at the exhibition stands. The arms industry is constantly developing, responding to the needs of its customers and, as it turns out, Polish products are very competitive on the arms market. Tactical warheads, MR-123 Hand Mines and the Controlled Anti-Tank Anti-Transport Explosive Charge kr. Tulipan manufactured by BZE BELMA S.A., which we presented during this event, enjoyed great interest among visitors

Loitering ammunition is currently one of the solutions that provide a wide range of possibilities for action on the battlefield. Our warheads can be successfully used in many types of carriers and serve to neutralize various types of targets. Our warhead range includes thermobaric, high-explosive and cumulative-fragmentation warheads available in three weight variants (1 kg; 1.4 kg; 4.8 kg).

MR-123 hand mines are an effective anti-tank and anti-armored vehicle weapon. Weighing 3.7 kg, it can penetrate 60 mm of armored steel. The mine is resistant to mine clearance using explosive charges and electro-magnetic devices. It can be set as non-removable. In compliance with the CCW Convention, the mine is equipped with a self-destruction mechanism.

SPPŁW kr. Tulipan is an advanced, portable ammunition that increases the capabilities of infantry forces to defend against combat vehicles, armored personnel carriers and heavy off-road vehicles. Also effective when attacking the upper hemisphere of a tank. Tulipan is classified as a side-armour mine. It is equipped with a non-contact acoustic-thermal fuse capable of detecting the presence of a vehicle in the mine's striking zone. The projectile generates a cumulative wave as a result of initiating the EFP (Explosively Formed Projectile) explosive charge. It can be detonated in anti-tank and anti-transport-fragment mode. In both cases, the range of effective destruction confirmed by tests is from 2 to 50 m with a penetration of 60 mm of armor steel. The weight of 7 kg and the small size of the mine allow for greater mobility of the soldier carrying the load to the place of deployment. Tulip can be used to protect the state borders, defensive actions and delaying enemy actions, as well as effectively securing strategic objects such as command posts.

SPPŁW Tulipan was one of eight selected products of the Polish Armaments Group with export potential for the "Security Promoters" project.
